02/08/2026 Weekly Notes

SELO BEDA

This week was a mix of good and bad, a solid 6/10.

The good part was my plan to write posts ahead of time for BEDA (Blog Every Day August), a challenge created by the Entreblogs group to post every single day in August. Publishing 31 posts in one month is something I've never done before, so I wanted to be prepared. This past week, I wrote three posts a day, which allowed me to enter the challenge with 21 pre-made posts ready to go.

There are about 50 bloggers participating, and we complete specific missions to write featured posts. You can track all the progress on the website: entreblogs.com.br/beda/2026.

Because I was so focused on writing, I barely consumed any media this week—almost no YouTube, almost no music, and significantly less chess than usual.

On a heavier note, one of my students was hospitalized, and I'm really worried about him. I spoke with his mother, and it sounds like his condition was quite severe, sadly. He will likely be able to return to school in about two weeks.

On a lighter note, my parents came back from the capital, but otherwise, it was a fairly quiet week.

Now I have 10 days left to prepare posts about media consumption: books, games, music, anime, and more. I hope I can fit in enough reading, listening, and watching before the end of the month! I'm really looking forward to spending some quality time with different types of media between now and September.
